These terms apply to your use of christiaankornaat.com ("the website"), a personal, non-commercial website run by Christiaan Kornaat. By using the website or signing in, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

The website

The website is a free hobby project. It contains a portfolio, games and tools such as blogs, kanban boards, lists and quizzes. Features may change, be added or be removed at any time without notice.

Your account

You sign in with a Google or Discord account. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your Google or Discord account secure. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law or infringe the rights of others;
  • post content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or otherwise harmful;
  • send spam or impersonate others;
  • try to gain unauthorised access to the website, other accounts or the underlying systems, or disrupt the website;
  • scrape the website or use automated tools to put a heavy load on it.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create on the website. You give us permission to store and display that content, but only to provide the website to you and to the people you share it with. You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to share it. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using the website at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or delete accounts that break these terms, and we may stop running the website altogether.

Disclaimer and liability

The website is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranties. We do not guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors, or that your data will never be lost. Keep your own copy of anything important. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damage arising from your use of the website.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If you keep using the website after a change, you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be handled by the competent court in the Netherlands.
